Abstract
In this research, we try to provide a comprehensive description of two important historical texts on the Seljuk state, namely: “Rahat al-Sudur and Ayat al-Surur dar Tarikh ale Saljuq” by al-Rawandi, and “Akhbar al-Dawlah al-Seljukiyya” by al-Husayni and then a comparison is made between these two important texts on the history of the Seljukid state. The reason for choosing this topic is the importance of this time period, and the deficiency of inclusive independent authorship on the Seljuks in this period. Moreover, these two texts have characteristics that distinguish them among the methods of historians in this era, and this research seeks to reveal them. The researcher used the historical text analysis method, content extrapolation, and the deductive method, and came up with a set of results and discussed them at the conclusion.
