DIVERSITY AND TAXONOMY OF WOOD ROTTING FUNGI FROM DHARASHIV [OSMANABAD] DISTRICT (M.S.) INDIA

Abstract
In present investigation 107 specimens of Wood-rotting fungi were collected from various regions of Dharashiv [Osmanabad]District (M.S.) India. 25new species were recorded from the present study area, identified according to macroscopic features at the site and microscopic features in the laboratory and belong to 12 families and 24 genera. The most dominating family were observed Polyporaceae (6 genera) andthe most dominating genera wasLeucocoprinus(2 species).
