Abstract
This text examines the concept of obligation as a diverse civil law phenomenon. The author focuses on the fact that the obligation can be considered as a civil legal relationship, according to which the debtor is obliged to perform a certain action in favor of the creditor. The article identifies two main principles of fulfillment of obligations – proper and real fulfillment. It is emphasized that if these principles are not followed, civil liability arises. The main idea of the article is based around the concept of fulfillment of obligations, as the commission of certain actions on the part of the debtor and creditor aimed at achieving the purpose of the obligation. The structure of the article clearly highlights the key principles of fulfillment of obligations and their importance in civil law relations.
