— This paper examines the multifaceted impact of drug abuse (KUSH) in Port Loko District, Sierra Leone. Drug abuse has emerged as a significant public health concern in the region, affecting individuals, families, and communities. Through an extensive review of literature, this paper discusses the social, economic, and health implications of drug abuse in Port Loko District. Moreover, it explores the underlying factors contributing to drug abuse and suggests potential interventions to address this pressing issue. By shedding light on the consequences of drug abuse, this paper aims to inform policymakers, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders about the urgent need for comprehensive strategies to mitigate its adverse effects
