Abstract
Indonesia's geographical position contributes directly to its cultural diversity, whether those that arose independently or from cross fertilization from intercontinental trade actors. Among the cultural diversity is the existence of various musical instruments and genre referred to as traditional music. Considering recent development of the human civilization, digitization of this traditional music is necessary for the purpose of preservation and also fast and accurate introduction to the world. In researching the right digitization, a qualitative method is used to find the most optimal way for documentation of traditional music
