Through advanced analysis techniques like spectroscopy and DNA profiling, soil becomes a valuable tool for solving crimes, tracing geographical origins, and providing crucial evidence, reinforcing its importance in modern forensic science. This review showcases soil as a powerful, often overlooked tool in solving crimes and bringing justice, despite challenges like soil variability and contamination.
