DP Döneminde Tutan-Tutmayan Devrimler Tartışması : Discussion of Accomplished-Unaccomplished Revolutions during the DP Period and the Spreading Process of the Religiosity Indicators in Daily Life

This article mentions about the secularist and anti-secularist conflict that started when DP came to power in 1950. And it refers to anti- revolutionism which intensifies in daily life. After Adnan Menderes had come to power in 1950 as a prime minister, with the separation of accomplished-unaccomplished revolutions, on the one hand this process started a discussion of upper structure among secularist and Islamist- conservative circles and on the other hand in daily life a speed increase was experienced in religious images. Article addresses to the reflection of the religion on identities of the masses in 1950s, the emergence of communities and groups that exploited the religion, evaluations about secularism and political struggles carried out around these issues.
