Abstract
This article examines the complex relationships between language, cognition, and society in relation to terms related to gender. It investigates how cognitive semantics and frame analysis provide important perspectives on how gender is understood and portrayed in language. The research seeks to uncover the cognitive and social factors involved in the use of gender-related terms, with a particular focus on conceptual metaphor theory, prototype theory, and framing theory as methods of analysis.
