Prosecutor's supervision of pre-trial stages of criminal proceedings: problems and prospects of development

In the scientific article, the author revealed that Monitoring compliance with legislation during the preliminary investigation becomes a key task of prosecutorial supervision, implemented within the framework of the functions of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation. Currently, it is necessary to conduct a joint analysis of prosecutorial supervision and investigation of crimes, since, on the one hand, it allows us to develop proposals aimed at improving these areas of state activity, and thus achieve the goals of the study, on the other hand, it contributes to solving the tasks facing the prosecutor, since the effectiveness of prosecutorial supervision largely depends from his knowledge of the essence of crime investigation activities.
