The article presents an analysis of issues related to criminal law regulation in the context of illegal distribution of firearms. The article examines the social transformations that have occurred over the past decades, including economic crises, instability in the political arena, splits in the structure of society and a decrease in trust in state institutions and administrative bodies. These factors have been shown to contribute to the growth of crime, having a significant impact on the social stability of the country.
