Abstract

The study examines the issue of maintaining the ecological and economic efficiency of agricultural land use in Ukraine under climate change conditions. The change in climatic conditions has a negative impact on the agricultural sector, causing a decrease in productivity, soil degradation and increasing environmental problems. In response to these challenges, research is focused on the development of strategies and measures aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of agriculture by optimizing the use of land resources. The paper analyzes the current state of agricultural land, assesses the impact of climate change on the agricultural sector, and identifies key indicators of ecological and economic efficiency. The methods and approaches proposed in the study are aimed at preserving soil fertility, reducing the environmental impact of agricultural activities, and increasing the economic profitability and sustainability of the agricultural sector. The results of the study can be used to improve the national policy in the field of land management and adaptation of the agricultural sector to new climatic realities. The implementation of research results can positively affect the preservation of ecosystems, increase the economic efficiency of the agricultural sector, and improve the welfare of the rural population in Ukraine. Thus, the research makes a significant contribution to the development of scientific knowledge and practices regarding the effective use of land resources in the context of global climate change.
