Abstract
The post-war reconstruction of Ukraine requires effective strategies for the transformation of war-torn areas into modern cities, technologically developed smart cities. In such cities, geospatial technologies will play a key role. A number of key scientific methods were used to conduct the research, including data collection and analysis, modeling of systems and consideration of their complexity. This study analyzes the challenges and innovations in the application of geospatial technologies for processes related to the reconstruction of Ukraine. In the context of this scientific work, the accuracy and availability of data, the integration of environmental and urban planning within the framework of GIS are considered and analyzed. Among the key problems identified by the authors, it should be noted: there is little or complete inaccuracy of data, technological limitations of existing platforms, and a lack of qualified specialists. Such innovative technology for a smart city as the development of a regional development system GIS and its integration with the Digital Recovery Ecosystem for Accountable Management (DREAM) aims to address key issues. A general model of the post-war economic recovery of territories is presented, which emphasizes the integration of geospatial data. An important element of this work is the improvement of existing legislation in the field of infrastructure, geospatial data processing, and the implementation of initiatives to develop the city's economic potential. Effective integration of advanced geospatial technologies and improved legislation will allow Ukraine to find ways for rapid reconstruction, promoting a sustainable urban environment and serving as an example for other countries.
