Abstract
Morphological variability of four isolates of Colletotrichum falcatum Went. Causing red rot disease of sugarcane, collected from four cultivars. CoS-95255, CoS-8436, CoS-96268 and CoS- 88230 were established. Four red rot isolates were differentiated into two distinct groups based on growth based and on growth rates. Isolates were orange, brown, red and red bottom, respectively. We concluded that Colletotrichum falcatum isolates are morphologically dissimilar. This investigation demands to substantiate the morphologically dissimilarity with genetic diversity among these isolates.
