Abstract

He paper examines the theoretical aspects of business process management with the help of IT: the essence of the business process and the process approach to the management of the organization and the role of the information system in this process are considered. The importance of information support of business processes of project management, which is due to the need to optimize individual actions to increase the overall efficiency of the enterprise in a turbulent environment. In the course of the study, the key areas of digital transformations in the structure of business process management are allocated. IT-technologies that can be used in the digitalization of business processes of enterprises are considered. There is a need for such a technological solution that would provide strict control over the procedures performed, would increase their speed and controllability. In its most general form, the purpose of business process management is presented in the form of such mechanisms that would ensure an increase in the efficiency of the company's activities through continuous improvement of the business processes that are implemented in it. To achieve continuous improvement of business processes that are implemented in the company, it is necessary to combine tools and methods that support the solution of the following tasks within a single management cycle: process design, their implementation (automation), operational management of processes, monitoring of process performance indicators, analysis of statistics and identification of reasons for low efficiency of processes, setting a task aimed at improving processes. The work reflects the author's view on the essence of various approaches to building and improving business processes, including with the help of information technology, from the point of view of innovative, creative and rational components. This approach makes it possible to consider the implementation of information systems not only from an organizational point of view, but also from the point of view of approaches to the modern paradigm of project management, which involves the influence of information, network and innovation factors
