Abstract

Introduction. Inclusive growth is one of the most pressing issues in modern economic policy. In the context of globalization and technological progress, inequality of income and opportunities between different groups of the population continues to grow, threatening social stability and sustainable development. The main challenges that need to be addressed in the framework of inclusive growth include economic inequality, limited access to resources and opportunities, high unemployment and informal employment, and environmental challenges. The growing gap between rich and poor leads to social tensions and political instability. Poor access to education, healthcare, and other basic services makes it difficult for many people to realize their potential and improve their living conditions. The economic and social recovery from the pandemic remains incomplete, and new risks are impeding progress on social justice. This underscores the critical need for a strategic reorientation in economic policy-making for inclusive growth that will not only help address these immediate challenges, but also pave the way for sustainable, job-creating growth. Purpose. The purpose of this paper is to present a framework for inclusive growth, including an analysis of current issues related to economic inequality, access to resources, and the impact on social stability. The study also aims to define the concept of inclusive growth and develop practical recommendations for promoting inclusive growth that can be used by governments and policymakers. Materials and Methods. The article uses modern economic indicators to provide a comprehensive understanding of the global economic situation. The rankings of the world's countries according to the Human Development Index (HDI), the Happiness Index, the Social Progress Index, the Inclusive Growth Index (IGI) and the place of Ukraine in them are studied and analyzed. The methods of comparative analysis, statistical analysis and analytical literature review were used to study current trends and identify key factors that affect inclusive growth. Results. The study has shown that inclusive growth is multidimensional and requires a comprehensive and integrated framework to integrate all areas. The article presents striking facts about the growth of inequality and widespread disparities in the world. The analysis shows that economic inequality, limited access to resources and opportunities, high unemployment and informal employment are the main challenges to inclusive growth. It is determined that Ukraine ranks low in the rankings of the Human Development Index, the Happiness Index, the Social Progress Index, and the Inclusive Growth Index. Discussion. This article makes two important contributions to the inclusive growth literature. First, it provides a comprehensive analysis of contemporary issues related to economic inequality, access to resources, and the impact on social stability. Second, it offers practical solutions for promoting inclusive growth that can be used by governments and policymakers to create a more equitable society. The findings show that inclusive growth is critical for sustainable development, poverty reduction and inequality. From a policy perspective, the results emphasize the importance of promoting inclusive growth, demonstrating that it is crucial to mitigate the adverse impacts of poverty and inequality.
