Abstract
This paper analyzes the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for global foreign trade and logistics. The pandemic has significantly affected the economy and trade relations of all countries, which has led to a reduction in world trade by 13-32%, according to the World Trade Organization (WTO). The main problems faced by companies in the organization of supply chains are considered, such as a decrease in cargo traffic, the lack of clear rules in quarantine conditions and the need for rapid adaptation to new conditions. The main trends affecting the logistics industry in the post-pandemic period are highlighted, including dumping in the market, the departure of less stable players, the development of cooperation, the introduction of new IT technologies and compliance with sanitary standards.
