Current problems of the fight against corruption in Russia

The article examines the problem of corruption in modern Russia. The authors explore the concepts of corruption and corrupt enrichment, their causes and consequences, using examples from forensic practice. The main directions of the state policy aimed at combating corruption, including in law enforcement agencies, are analyzed; it is proposed to make a number of adjustments to the current anti-corruption legislation in order to tighten criminal sanctions for corruption-related crimes.
