Abstract
The article reveals the role of motivation as an effective element in the field of risk management in banking institutions. The approaches to the formation of psychological motivational mechanisms that contribute to increasing employee productivity and reducing internal and external threats are investigated. The theoretical aspects of external and internal threats in banking institutions are revealed.
