Abstract
In this edition, we present Issue No. 52 of the Bolivian Journal of Sciences, featuring three articles in the field of Engineering. The first article, conducted by the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, presents a distributed open collaboration framework aimed at diagnosing the recurring flooding issues affecting the Villa Páez neighborhood in the city of Córdoba. The second article, from the Department of Computer Systems Engineering, seeks to identify areas of opportunity by addressing worker motivation and satisfaction in the construction sector, emphasizing the importance of this topic in the industry. In the third article, Rocha Vallejo proposes the use of convolutional neural networks for detecting individuals not wearing face masks. We are confident that the articles in this issue will serve as a valuable reference for both the academic community and society at large for those interested in these topics. We extend our gratitude to the authors and reviewers for their dedication, effort, and commitment in producing high-quality articles while adhering to the established deadlines.
