Editorial Note

There is a general consensus on the importance of knowledge as a key factor in the development of modern societies. The productive capacity that once marked the dividing line between different countries has now been replaced by learning capabilities, based on the generation, dissemination, and use of knowledge. There is increasing discussion about the need for a new type of society, where development is driven by the willingness of different actors to interact and establish learning networks. These networks strengthen the scientific and technological capacity of a region and enhance the productivity and competitiveness of its industrial organizations through continuous innovation. In this context, Journal Boliviano de Ciencias is a scientific journal that not only promotes research but also aims to disseminate the knowledge generated within the university in a clear, precise, and accessible manner for society as a whole. This knowledge has been produced not only through the academic curriculum but also inclusively by students across various disciplines, addressing current and relevant topics.
