Reliability centered maintelance applied to the hidraulic system of Cobee Huaji powerhouse

Solivian Company of Electric Power, COBEE, is one of the companies of more important hydraulic generation in Bolivia. Following its politics of continuous progress to achieve a more efficient management, a methodo­ logy of Reliability Centered Maintenance to the hydrau­ lic system was applied at Huaji plant, located in Zongos Valley, to suggest maintenance tasks, their frequencies and responsible people. The analysis used the parameters of the standard SAE JA 1011; which demanded to form a multi-disciplinary working group with the system most involved staff and to answer, in planned meetings, the seven basic ques­tions of Reliability Centered Maintenance. The entire study was documented in worksheets and maintenance plans for access to all the company staff.
