Some of these methods are – Agar plate method, Blotter method and Inspection of dry seeds. In this experiment one new method is applied. This method can be called locked moisture method. In this method the moisture is made available in sufficient amount for the microbes, inhabiting the surface of the seeds, by locking it inside the Petri plate.
