Abstract
The new algorithm, which provides an exponential identification of induction motor active stator and rotor resistances is designed using Lyapunov’s second method. The algorithm uses an information about stator currents, voltages and rotor angular velocity. Local asymptotic stability of the identification algorithm has been proved under persistence of excitation conditions. Additionally, the identification algorithm may be viewed as an adaptive with respect of resistances variations flux observer. The experimental tests confirm the efficiency of the proposed identification algorithm.
