Abstract
The current need to improve the management of a range of sensorless induction motor drives fed by voltage-source inverters causes the developers solve the problems which are due to the performance at very low speeds. These problems can be divided into problems related to sensorless speed identification, and the problems that are intended to compensate the voltage inverter nonlinearities. The article offer a method of improving the quality of the compensation dead time effect by performing compensation using an adaptive current observer.
