Abstract
In a modern society that is struggling for sovereignty, independence and democracy, the right to honor, dignity and business reputation is the foundation of social relations and ensures the full participation of an individual in everyday life. These intangible values are the inalienable personal non-property benefits of every person. The legislative consolidation of mechanisms, methods and means of protecting honor, dignity and business reputation indicates the level of development of the legal culture and legal awareness of the state and its citizens regarding the protection and defense of such benefits.
