Abstract
The article examines the impact of digitalization on the labor sphere and the transformation of classical labor relations under the influence of the gig economy. New forms of employment, particularly gig work through digital platforms, have challenged the effectiveness of constitutional guarantees of the right to work, fair and safe working conditions, social protection, and collective representation. The key features of the gig economy in Ukraine are identified, including the absence of legal status for gig workers and issues with access to basic labor rights.
