Abstract
The purpose of the study is to identify and characterize in the psycholinguistic aspect the process of word-formation labeling of the semantic dominants of the derivational-semantic space “Hypocrisy and pretense” in the Russian language, namely the words hypocrisy, duplicity, insincerity and pretense . They objectify in language a rationalistic and pragmatic model of communication, conditioned by the moral and moral orientations of the individual. The innovation of the work lies in the fact that for the first time it attempts to describe derived lexical units that verbalize stereotypes of insincere and deceitful behavior through the prism of psycholinguistics and linguistic meta-ethics. This approach allowed us to interpret the morphosemantic structure of the word as a manifestation of the dynamics of Russian linguistic consciousness. In accordance with the proposed analysis algorithm, the semantic structure of dominant words is characterized in the study; on the basis of synonymous and associative series, the lexical composition and boundaries of the studied space are established; the main types of derivatives in the composition of correlating word-formation nests and their components are identified; the spectrum of feelings and emotions accompanying the process of identification and evaluation of ‘deceptive actions’ and ‘imaginary reality is determined. The study proves the presence of a psychological component in the semantic structure of such nominative units. Derived vocabulary (names of persons, actions, Abstract concepts, various kinds of signs) as one of the forms of reflection of ethnomental reality, it receives an emotionally expressive coloring, a pejorative assessment and additional shades of meaning. The expressiveness of their inner form evokes accompanying feelings, emotions, and ideas in the human mind. Prospective (synchronic) and retrospective (diachronic) word-formation analysis allowed us to consider the totality of derived words as “macrounits” of storage and systematization of mental and linguistic information related to the socio-psychological attitudes of native speakers, their behavior and communicative activities. The study of derived anthropological nominations that have emerged as a result of acts of derivation is one of the ways to reconstruct and describe the Russian linguistic consciousness.
