Abstract

The relevance of the research presented in this article is determined by the fact that poetry translations are among the most complex types of translation due to their lexical, stylistic, and cultural particularities. In such translations, it is important to consider not only the accuracy of lexical meanings, but also the cultural heritage and aesthetics of the author's work. The poetry of Marina Tsvetaeva is well-known worldwide, both in the original and in translation. However, research aimed at identifying patterns in translating poetry from a fusional language to an agglutinative one is extremely limited. This is the main reason for the small number of M.I. Tsvetaeva's poems translated into the Tatar language. Based on a systemic approach, a continuous sampling method, and linguistic analysis of the poetic text, this study analyzes selected poetic works by M.I. Tsvetaeva. The results of the comparative analysis of translations by M.G. Safin, G.Kh. Akhtyamova, D. Malikov, and D.A. Salimova demonstrate that M. Tsvetaeva's poetry presents significant challenges in translating into Tatar.
