Abstract
In recent years, the concept of democracy in developing countries has faced numerous challenges. Given that many of these countries are on the path of establishing democratic institutions and strengthening the rule of law, the role of public law as a key tool in this process, especially in strengthening and promoting democratic values, is undeniable. This article examines the impact of public law laws and regulations on democratic processes in developing countries and attempts to clarify the relationship between legal frameworks and effective citizen participation. Research shows that public law laws and regulations can serve as a platform for promoting human rights, civil liberties, and social justice. While analyzing the experiences of different countries, this article examines challenges such as corruption, weak legal institutions, and lack of access to information that prevent the realization of true democracy. It also highlights the role of civil society organizations and the media in strengthening democracy, and how laws can help promote citizen participation and government accountability. Finally, this article offers suggestions for improving legal frameworks in developing countries so that they can take steps towards strengthening democracy and the rule of law. Therefore, this research not only describes the current situation, but also provides a deeper analysis of how laws are formed and effectively implemented to strengthen nascent democracies and examines future prospects.
