Abstract
Ensuring a safe educational environment in the conditions of the New Ukrainian School is one of the key conditions for an effective educational process. A child's transition to school life is accompanied by significant changes that can cause stress, so it is especially important to create a comfortable and safe environment for first-graders. The purpose of the article is to analyze the problem of creating a safe educational environment in primary school and justify the need to form it through game activities. The article uses methods of analyzing scientific literature, regulatory legal acts, as well as generalizing pedagogical experience. The study considers the legal principles of a safe educational environment, in particular the Law of Ukraine “On Education”, the concept of “New Ukrainian School”, orders and recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It was determined that physical and psychological safety are the main components of the educational space that affect the successful adaptation of children to school. The content of the study includes an analysis of the adaptation period of first-graders and the influence of game activities on their socialization. The article emphasizes the importance of proper zoning of the classroom space to minimize the risk of injury and increase the comfort of students. The principles of safe arrangement of the educational environment are considered, including the use of ergonomic furniture, environmentally friendly materials and interactive technologies. An important component of creating a safe educational space is the introduction of modern technologies, in particular interactive boards, sensory floors and educational applications that contribute to a safe and interesting educational process. The results of the study showed that the psychological comfort of children at school largely depends on the support of the teacher and interaction with classmates. The use of methods of art therapy, fairy tale therapy, group games and gamification of the educational process contributes to the development of emotional stability of students, their self-confidence and the formation of a positive attitude towards learning. The results obtained can be used by teachers to develop effective teaching methods and create a comfortable environment in primary school.
