Abstract

Modern education is impossible without the active use of digital technologies that open up new opportunities for teaching science. Integration of digital tools into the educational process helps to increase students' interest, improve visualization of complex phenomena and processes, expand access to educational resources, and develop skills in working with information technology. The use of interactive simulations, virtual laboratories, augmented and virtual reality elements, artificial intelligence, and other digital solutions makes learning more visual, practical, and personalized. At the same time, the digitalization of the educational process is accompanied by a number of challenges. In particular, there are technical difficulties related to the availability of equipment and the stability of the Internet connection. Teachers need to adapt pedagogical approaches and improve assessment methods to maintain academic integrity. Other important aspects include developing the digital competence of educators and students, overcoming information overload, and supporting critical thinking. One of the key issues is to maintain a balance between traditional and digital teaching methods, which will ensure effective learning without losing fundamental skills. The purpose of the article is to analyze the possibilities of using digital technologies in teaching natural sciences, to identify the main problems that arise in the process of their integration, and to determine effective ways to overcome them. The research is based on the analysis of scientific literature, comparison of modern digital educational platforms, and study of teachers' practical experience. The conclusions emphasize the need for a comprehensive approach to the implementation of digital tools, including improving logistics, creating methodological guidelines, and professional development of teachers.
