Institutionalization of sustainable forest management in Russia

The article analyzes the international promotion of sustainable forest management practices and their institutionalization in Russia. As an example voluntary forest certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is selected. It has also examined the factors (barriers and incentives) of implementation of sustainable forest management in Russia.
