Application of statistical methods in data processing forming blanks with rolling in combination anvils

Abstract
In the article statistical analysis of the results of experimental investigation blank forming during broach with rolling in combined anvils includes checking the reproducibility of experiments by Cochran, ANOVA (analysis of variance) based on Fisher's exact test and the determination of measurement error smartly is performed. Experimental materials were six lead samples, consisting of two halves with the applied coordinate grid. The graphic dependences of geometric characteristics from the rotation angle of the blank and percent reduction are obtained and analyzed, intervals varying of the researched parameters are defined. Variation intervals of investigated parameters within which the quality of the deformed samples will meet the requirements are determined and shown on th graphics. Unvaried analysis of variance based on Fisher criterion showed that investigated variable parameters of broach modes (the tilting angle, the value of of compression and the amount of reduction) have a significant influence on the forming of the prototypes. The optimal regimes of deformation of blanks during broaching with rolling in combined strikers with different values of reduction and rotation angle of the blanks around the longitudinal axis from the point of view of achieving the best geometric characteristics of the cross-section of the forging are determined
