Abstract
The mass-exchanging characteristics in gas and liquid phases at various regime and design data of the contact device are defined in the article. For the analysis of processes mass transfer in gas and liquid phases, the model of surface renewal is used. On the basis of this model the theoretical equations for calculation of mass transfer coefficients are received.
