Social capital becomes the main subject of political and scientific discourse explanation generators socio-economic development in recent years. Social capital remains poorly understood and requires analysis. Studies of social capital should be done at the local level. This article attempts to present some indicators of social capital in the zachodniopomorskie voivodship compared to other regions. Attempt to showed a relatively low level of selected components of social capital in zachodniopomorskie voivodship. This leads to the conclusion that social capital should develop now in order to secure economic growth in the future. Social capital building should be a priority now as a long term.
