БЛАГОТВОРИТЕЛЬНЫЙ ВКЛАД САНКТ-ПЕТЕРБУРГСКОЙ И КОСТРОМСКОЙ ЕПАРХИЙ РУССКОЙ ПРАВОСЛАВНОЙ ЦЕРКВИ В РУССКО-ТУРЕЦКУЮ ВОЙНУ 1877-1878 ГГ

It is examines in this paper, the charitable activity of the of Saint-Petersburg and Kostroma dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church during the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878. The author analyzes, using the archival sources, the volume of donations received from this dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church throughout the war, as well as other forms of promoting the Church, and finally comes to the conclusion that philanthropy of Saint-Petersburg and Kostroma dioceses had a great importance for the liberation the Slavs from the Turkish yoke.
