Abstract

The article raises the question of application of the problem-solving method of teaching a foreign language. The defi nition and description of the problem-solving method of teaching of students in not language high Institution is given, author formed goals and objectives of this method. We described conditions of success of a problem-solving method. The main stages of this kind of work with students are described and shown all the types of problem tasks: communicative-problem tasks, spiritual and cognitive tasks, linguistics tasks. The role of the tutor during the using of the problem-solving method in the process of learning of a foreign language is defi ned. The problem-solving method of teaching is considered as an effective way of training students of a foreign language in not language high Institution
