Abstract
The relevant aspects of training of the applied psychologist in system of the higher education are discussed. Substantial, organizational and technological and position approaches to the preparation focused on practice of applied psychologists are revealed. The model of job description of the applied psychologist, defining character of its activity in an education system, public health and social service of the population is offered.
