Abstract
Electronic Retailing is nowadays rapidly becoming an alternative or additional medium for the retailers as well as manufacturers to showcase and sell their products to the large number of prospective customers. Still in its evolution phase, e?retailing is bound to stay and grow stronger in India because of the numerous benefits it offers to both the buyers as well as sellers in terms of convenience, cost savings and flexibility of purchase timings. Present paper shall explore the buying preferences of online customers on the basis of a brief survey conducted among college youths. It shall find out the issues involved in e-retailing and would also recommend the suitable strategies to tackle those challenges.
