Abstract
At the present stage of development of Kazakhstan Republic agriculture, the acute shortage of water resource, important for improvement of the efficiency and competitiveness of the agricultural production is necessary to introduce resource-saving technologies of crops cultivation and irrigation. According to the results of many years’ studies that were conducted by scientists of SRIWE, it is possible to make a conclusion that ridge and zero tillage resource saving agricultural technologies are the most effective for the irrigated area of southern Kazakhstan.
