Abstract
The article deals with the research results of the choice of optimum variants of soil cultivation for soybean plants in different climatic conditions and their effect on crop productivity. According to the study, it was established that moldboard plowing takes precedence over boardless plowing and surface tillage in the conditions of steppe region. The conditions of piedmont region allow to carry out plowing with 20?25 cm in depth using double preplanting plowing.
