On Concept and Essence of the Phenomenon “Ethnic Drug-related Crime” in Realities of Ukrainian Legislation, Legal Science and Law-enforcement Practice

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the peculiarities of current discussion about concept and essence of the phenomenon “ethnic drug-related crime”. Such definitions as “drug-related crime”, “ethnic crime” and “organized crime” are currently used without specifying its meaningful determination, both in theory and in practice, and the definition of “ethnic drug-related crime” has no interpretation at all in realities of Ukrainian legislation and legal science. Thus the ?ethnic drug-related crime? is considered to be the most identified term. Ukrainian legislation, opinions of domestic and foreign authors, law-enforcement practice related to this phenomenon are analyzed. The main goal of this study is to determine concept and essence of the phenomenon “ethnic drug-related crime”.
