HYPOHIDROTIC ECTODERMAL DYSPLASIA IN PEDIATRIC PRACTICE

Abstract
This article describes a case of hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia of 9 years old papatient. The disease was detected on pediatric reception on the basis of phenotype typical for the pathology: dry skin, lack of teeth, rare and vellus hair on the head, a high forehead, plump lips, ears of pointed shape. As a special feature of the clinical course of hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia it was noted a periodic fever of patient and the presence of unpleasant smell from the first nose. The represented clinical observation extends theoretical knowledge of physicians of various specialties on hereditary diseases.
