Abstract
The lack of a national strategy for combating crime is a reason that leads to the existence of negative trends, distribution, and reproduction crime. Participation in the struggle against crime and socially justified serves as an important tool for state legal protection of individual human rights and freedoms, property, public and state interests. Investigation practice, unfortunately, shows a serious discrepancy objective capacity units to preserve secret evidence confidential cooperation with police officers the same requirements set out in the legislation and instructions. This discrepancy is found in the most significant problems associated with documenting the fact confidential cooperation into account, protection of confidential cooperation under the Criminal Code of Ukraine
