Abstract
There were movements in Middle-East policies and importance of the region increased in surrounding policy practised against Soviet Union because of the fact that Eisenhower was selected as President in January 1953. Secretary of State John Foster Duller was sent to the region with the aim of examining practicability of policies newly formed on site and making related countries in the region act in accordance with new policies by sounding. Phases of this extensive visit were studied and reactions were evaluated in this study.
