Abstract

The study presents new risk factors for the development and progression of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion identified during the comprehensive survey of 295 patients with subsequent statistical processing. Among the new factors were: the presence of bleeding in puberty, menarche at age 15 years, alkaline reaction of vaginal discharge, pathology of the gastrointestinal tract, breast disease, family history of cancer (especially cervical cancer and precancerous condition - highgrade dysplasia in the immediate family), endocervical thickness greater than 5 mm, and the presence of multiple endocervical cysts larger than 10 mm by ultrasound, the patient belongs to the microsomal or micromesosomal somatotype. The results are useful in medical practice to assess the overall risk of progression of pathology and for optimal patient management tactics.
