Abstract
The MapReduce performance through Hadoop Cluster conserns with finding jobs working strategies related to its execution , percent of makespan improvements , mapreduce system working , optimization techniques and Energy consumption during execution of jobs . Hadoop cluster plays a key role in mapreduce performance . The existing MapReduce systems usually schedule the concurrent tasks to the compute nodes according to the number of task slots on each node. Job scheduling in Hadoop is performed by a master node, which manages a number of worker nodes in the cluster. Each worker has a fixed number of map slots and reduce slots, which can execute tasks. This approach relies on the system administrator to set the number of task slots according to the actual hardware resources. MapReduce is a widely used parallel computing framework for large scale data processing.
