Abstract
Definition of situational tasks for methodology teaching chemistry, the general requirements applicable to them were presented, described their importance in teaching students. The difficulty of using situational tasks in course of methodology teach- ing chemistry, their role in the preparation of future teachers of modern schools have been listed. General requirements for the content of situational tasks in the methods of teaching chemistry, including a description of real situations, questions and tasks which are interdisciplinary in nature, have been formulated. Features case situation tasks and teaching cases by the presence of the problem, the position of teacher and students at their decision, the nature of the issues and tasks, didactic purpose of use, the composition and nature of the responses were noted. These features allow methodologically sound ap- proach to the development of situation tasks
