Abstract
Eucalyptus is an open source software that is used for building private clouds which is easily compatible with AWS APIs, as well as our cloud software pools together network, compute, and storage resources within your IT environment to create on-demand, self-service private cloud resources. In this research paper, we are discussing introduction, background, terminology, key benefits, features and components with its functions of Eucalyptus. Further discussing architecture of Eucalyptus, Amazon AWS Compatibility and lastly discuss about latest version Eucalyptus 4.0.1 that resolve some issues. This paper show importance of Eucalyptus as an open source Infrastructure for cloud computing platform and gives high availability solutions, and Eucalyptus cloud infrastructure solution is optimal choice for your open source cloud needs.
