Abstract
The objective of this research was to find the ways to ensure high-quality training the students concerning the issues of giving the palliative care at the stage of basic medical education. In oncology, palliative care is a part of giving palliative care to the population and it is ensured by using some special ways of treatment: surgical, chemotherapeutic, and radiological. Using these methods enables to prolong the patient's life as well as to improve its quality. The students’ research work as one of the realized ways of professional training in oncology is aimed at realization of students’ creativity.
